Each year on February 14, people exchange cards, candy or flowers with their special “valentine.” St. Valentine’s Day dates back to the 5th century, but has origins in the Roman holiday Lupercalia. I used to live in a different country where my morning coffee window was facing the beach. I used to enjoy the morning light, people walking on the beach, birds flying around, the empty street getting crowded little b
y little. I'm not that lucky anymore, I moved countries and I'm way far from the beach. I wish I have a photo on that window and view. At that time my window's view and coffee was not that important, but now all I wish for is a simple photo of that window or me having coffee there. My project is from the heart to the heart, I thought of something meaningful to give and to be remembered for years to come. It is to document one day of your life. It can be only you going around to market or favorite street and like my coffee the importance comes later on in life when you want to remember a special day, your mom, your pet, special event or even a certain time in life.
Let's go back to Valentine's day, how about you keep it for ever and break the trend of red roses and chocolate?
